It’s been a busy month here at BlazeTrade. We spent a lot of time improving our onboarding process based on your feedback. Specifically, we now let you log-in instantly with any valid phone number. We’ve passed 10 DLC certification with our SMS provider and so you can now reliably let you log instantly. No more waiting for emails! Hooray!

Those on desktop will also notice that the reports and PNL page recieved notable updates. In particular, you can now drill down by date and filter by ticker so you can see exactly which trades are paying and which trades are costing you money.

Using those filters, you can now export your trading PNL report as a CSV so you can open it in Excel and keep it for your records. We will be looking to add these features to mobile soon and plan on delivering these reports automatically via email.

These same filters and features are also now added to your orders page, so you can easily look at your order history and track down when you entered and exited trades with precision accuracy.

We are also happy to announce that we have entered into an agreement with Google Cloud to transition our infrastructure to next-generation cloud based architecture. As we continue to scale with the popularity of our product, Google provides us with unparalleled security and speed through isolation, scalability and speed. Our focus this month was to iterate on our market flow feature to help traders gain visibility and insight into real trades by real market participants. So, to that end, we now enable you to filter by contract type and position helping you see what the most active option contracts of the day are.

Since it’s earnings season, we also worked on surfacing earnings and news updates with weekly and daily digests. You’ll now notice that company pages will inform you of the next earnings annoucement date, so you’ll never be caught offsides again. The market index page received an overall refresh with upcoming earnings as well as a simplied list of the top headlines of the past 24 hours.

This will enable you to leverage our powerful trading tools against Tradier’s low cost option trading.

That’s not all. We’re also releasing a feature for you to be able to follow individual traders as well, not just gorups! This means that you can follow trades from your friends even if you’re on different platforms like Robinhood and Schwab. Our vision is to help unify retail traders with consistent market access and tools across all platforms.

Using an intelligent order detection system, we’re also able to discover origination order and automatically help you find the opening order to calculate the return and duration of the trade. This is a great way to understand under what conditions the original trade was made and how long it was held for as well as the return.

When signing up, new users can select “Paper Trading” and get access to market data for learning purposes. This will allow you to try out the product and understand the features BlazeTrade offers before connecting your broker.
